Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the success of our store and team by setting high performance standards and providing ongoing coaching and training. This role involves overseeing marketing efforts, championing store security and loss prevention, enforcing quality standards, and reviewing transactions to create an environment that fosters growth and innovation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems. A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle are also required. In this role, you will:

  • Coach, lead, and develop all store employees to achieve new business and increase store growth through training on systems, Company standards, account management, recovery, job duties, and performance reports.
  • Lead the charge and set an example for all store employees to identify local marketing strategies, use business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtain referrals, host and participate in community and in-store events to drive growth and revenue.
  • Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations by auditing loan/pawn agreements and transactions, and participating in audits and compliance reviews.
  • Supervise and maintain office security, including cash management and loss prevention, by verifying and documenting cash overages/shortages, vault inventory, deposits, and expenses.
  • Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and all relevant transactions, and assess risk within established limits.
  • Participate in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees.
  • Develop work schedules in accordance with budget, workloads, and store needs to ensure optimal performance.
