CNA Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Katahdin Health Care. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our elderly residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene and transportation
  • Monitor vital signs and record daily information in the resident's chart
  • Provide adjunct care for patients, including assistance with daily living needs
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and other staff members to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy
