Senior Bike and Ski Shop Mechanic

At REI, we're seeking a skilled Senior Bike and Ski Shop Mechanic to join our team. As a vital member of our retail store Shop team, you'll play a key role in creating a better outdoor experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and maintain REI equipment to industry standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service in the shop and on the sales floor
  • Contribute to REI's success by servicing and repairing bikes and/or snow sports equipment
  • Train teammates to conduct shop service functions
  • Mentor inexperienced staff
  • Research and report significant quality and safety issues
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of previous bike and/or ski shop experience (or equivalent/transferable skills)
  • Open availability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to transfer up to 40 pounds
