Halvik is a highly successful company that prioritizes its employees and strives to deliver innovative IT solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team.

Overview

As a key member of our team, the Senior Mainframe Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing systems in a mainframe environment. This individual should have at least 5 years of experience in:

  • A large-scale and complex environment similar to ATRRS.
  • Z/OS application development, with Internet application development experience being a plus.
  • IBM COBOL, DB2 (including stored procedures), CICS Transaction Server, and Z/OS operating system proficiency.
  • Developing new system modules in CICS Transaction Server and batch environments, which can be seamlessly integrated into ongoing operational systems without disrupting user services.
  • Independently resolving program malfunctions in a Z/OS environment.
  • Debugging programs and job streams in various hardware/operating system configurations.
  • Expertise in software environments, hardware configurations, and models.
  • Utilizing DB2 Connect and integrating with web-based applications.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $160,000 per year, based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. Please note that this is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
