**Job Summary:**

The University of California, Riverside seeks an experienced Academic Personnel Specialist to join its College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) team. As a critical member of the Academic Personnel department, this individual will oversee a team of analysts responsible for handling appointments, reappointments, merits, promotions, retentions, and leaves for 13 departments.

This role involves strategic planning, in-depth analysis of policies and procedures, and formulation of recommendations in various academic personnel areas. The selected candidate will supervise three staff members and ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining compliance with university policies and procedures.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful applicant will provide exceptional customer service and support to the Dean, Associate Deans, department chairs, and staff within CHASS. This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule.

**Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $143,700, based on a range of $90,400 - $169,000. We consider factors such as education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business needs when making salary offers.
