Job Title: Technical Lead - Regulatory Reporting

Location: ONSITE ONLY

About the Role

The primary expectation of this role is to provide technical expertise for implementation of regulatory reporting tools, creation of custom regulatory reports, automation of data processes, and extensive experience with regulatory requirements among other business areas in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implementation and support of regulatory reporting tools.
  2. Experienced in building job scheduling using tools like Control M.
  3. Lead design and architecture, development of regulatory reports, data process automation, unit testing and integration, and cutover activities.
  4. Provide detailed task planning, effort estimation, and progress tracking to the project manager for all development-related activities and ensure the development team delivers to project plans.
  5. Actively participate in risk management and change management on projects.
  6. Work with SI and other vendor resources to come up with a sound technical design.
  7. Ensure the prescribed development best practice processes are followed, and all deliverables are completed to the required quality.
  8. Work with functional leads to ensure the technical solution is fit for purpose.
  9. Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-building.
  10. Manage business expectations and ensure user satisfaction.
  11. Provide hands-on implementation and post-implementation support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years' experience working on implementation, support, and maintenance of regulatory reporting tools.
  • 7+ years' experience in development, implementation, and integration of multiple and/or complex business systems within an organization.
  • Strong understanding of 2052a, CCAR, FFIEC, FR-Y15, FR-Y14, and other regulatory reports.
  • Experience in Banking/Financial Services industry (preferred).
  • Expertise with regulatory data management and reporting.
  • Experience with asset and change management process.
