AEG is a leading sports and entertainment company that operates globally.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Sacramento, California.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing fan and corporate support by generating new ticket revenue for the Sacramento Republic FC.
This role involves selling Memberships, customized group and premium packages, and working with clients to build relationships and provide excellent customer service.
Main Responsibilities
- Sell and service a full menu of ticket products, including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and premium hospitality packages.
- Makes proactive sales outreach through cold calls, emails, virtual & in-person meetings, and text messages.
- Follows up with clients and prospective clients to build relationships and meet customer service requirements.
- Cordially handles incoming sales calls from prospective clients for all ticket sales products.
- Creates opportunities for new business through up-selling and referrals from existing clients.
- Meets call Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which includes call numbers, meetings scheduled, and other outbound activity measurements.
- Represents Sacramento Republic FC at home games and events to support ticket sales efforts and promotional initiatives.
- Lends grassroots effort at community events to grow the club brand and generate new sales leads.
- Assists in developing match day fan experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
- One or more years of sales experience, preferably in professional sports
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Driven to prove oneself every day
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal)
- Coachable and eager to learn every day
- Resiliency to expect, and ultimately overcome, adversity
- Team player with an understanding of ever-evolving nature of team dynamics
- Highly motivated and goal oriented to build a long-term career in the sports business
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 15 pounds
