Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $21.05 - $24.40 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonuses. As a key member of our team, you will provide emotional and physical comfort to patients, maintaining a safe environment and ensuring timely completion of tasks under the supervision of licensed personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient care activities as identified on the Patient Care Assistant competency checklist
  • Recognize and report changing patient care needs to registered nurses
  • Document findings and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with unit standards and systems
  • Maintain department equipment, reporting and following up on repairs as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent. You should also possess a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, a high school diploma or equivalency, and basic computer knowledge. If you are a nursing student actively enrolled in a program who has completed the first semester, your application will also be considered.
