Administrative Support Specialist

Job Summary
The Diocese of Orlando is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Ecclesiastical Properties office. This role will be responsible for coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, meeting rooms, and equipment for internal and external meetings.
- Respond to internal and external customers in a timely and courteous manner, representing the Diocese in a positive light.
- Manage and distribute daily mail, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
- Take meeting minutes during staff and board meetings.
- Provide administrative support to department directors and the Accounting & Administration Manager.
- Maintain a welcoming demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Catholic faith and appreciation for the Catholic Church and its teachings.
- High School diploma and at least three years of experience in a construction or real estate office.
- Experience with Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and prioritize tasks.
Working Conditions
The working hours of this position are not limited to an 8-hour day. Must be willing to work in conditions of stress and function well under pressure.
