We are seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse to join our team at Tulane University.

About the Position

This is a nursing research position that requires a strong background in clinical trials management and a deep understanding of good clinical practices.

The Research Nurse will be responsible for managing RN responsibilities in the conduct of clinical trials, including protocol requirements and regulatory compliance.

As a key member of our Hematology/Oncology department, the Research Nurse will work closely with patients, investigators, and sponsors to ensure successful trial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screens, enrolls, and follows study patients, ensuring protocol compliance and close patient monitoring.
  • Collects data and source documentation, adverse event reporting, and maintenance of complete regulatory files.
  • Provides direct patient care for clinical trials subjects.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of Louisiana RN Scope of Practice regulations.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain all required CITI training certificates.
  • Credentialing at LCMC Facilities (CHNOLA, Lakeside, EJGH, CHNOLA clinics), Veterans Administration Hospital/New Orleans, LA, and University Medical Center.
Education and Experience
  • RN with current licensure required. Must be licensed through the State of Louisiana by date of hire.
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly desired.
  • Computer/data entry experience desired.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
