About the Position:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Associate to join our team.
  • This role will involve assisting with patient care in the clinic setting, developing long-term relationships with patients, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure seamless practice operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient care tasks as directed by medical staff.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to address practice-related challenges and optimize workflow.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a recognized Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred.
  • 6-12 months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA); or
  • National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or
  • National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma.
  • Completion of Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Occasional weekend shifts may be required.
  • Full-time position with 80 hours bi-weekly.

Compensation:

  • The hourly wage for this position is $19.25 - $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
