About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems that support our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product management professionals to understand problems and define solutions.
  • Create and support software applications and systems using Behavior Driven Development methodology.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new technical standards and methods.
  • Apply best practices in testing, documentation, code reviews, and other areas.
  • Collaborate with fellow IT team members to triage issues and resolve service interruptions.
  • Participate in improving software development lifecycle, technical operations, and technology innovation.
Requirements
  • BA or BS degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Git distributed version control methodology.
  • Familiarity with hybrid on-premises/cloud implementations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of software engineering experience.
  • Healthcare experience.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud computing platform.
  • Familiarity with .NET Framework.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps version control tools.
  • Familiarity with GitHub version control tools.
  • Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL.
  • Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment. The employee must be able to function in a wide variety of environments, which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.

The employee must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 25 pounds may be required. Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting may also be required. The employee must be able to sit and climb stairs. Visual and hearing acuity are also required.
