Overview

Atrium Health seeks an experienced Lead Physical Therapist to join our team in a dynamic acute level setting.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct, and administer programs of Physical Therapy. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based Physical Therapy interventions.
  • Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, empathy, and continuous learning within the department.

Requirements:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Salary Range:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
