About the Role

Located in Sandy Springs, our organization is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient examinations
  • Interview patients to obtain and record medical history, vital statistics, and test results
  • Assist physicians and mid-level providers during patient examinations and in-office procedures
  • Perform routine urinalysis, draw blood, assist with dressing changes, and administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
  • Triage patient phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records and update patient files as needed
  • Clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent
  • Preferred Education: Associate's Degree
  • Preferred Experience: 1 year in OB/GYN practice, eCW EMR
  • Certifications and Licenses: Professional Medical Assistant Certification (Required), Basic Life Support/CPR certification (Preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum
