Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is a leading provider of travel healthcare opportunities, offering a unique blend of adventure and professional growth. We are currently seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team on a 12-week contract in Freeport, New York.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mammography Technologist who can work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Analyze images to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
- ARRT-M certification (or equivalent)
- NY State license (can obtain upon offer)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
- $1120-$1320 per week in taxable income
- $28-$33 per hour
- $1750 non-taxable stipend (subject to eligibility and seasonal/adjustments)
