Aerodyne Industries, a leading engineering and information technology services firm headquartered on Florida's Space Coast, is seeking an exceptional Senior Project Manager to join our team in developing cutting-edge solutions for NASA's Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) project.

About the Role

As a seasoned project manager with 10-15 years of experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the risk management process throughout the lifecycle of the LTV project. This includes ensuring effective horizontal and vertical integration of risk mitigation activities, providing recommendations for top risks to the Associate Program Manager, and working closely with the NASA LTV management team, other NASA programs, and commercial partner teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain the risk management process to identify, document, and report on risks associated with project efforts.
  • Work closely with the NASA LTV management team, EVA & Human Surface Mobility Program, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Provide training to risk owners and integrators on how to access, view, create, edit, and update risks in the project risk database tools.
  • Collect and report risk metrics to LTV Management and assist in implementing risk decision-making practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with a related master's degree.
  • At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in project management, including technical risk management.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering flight hardware at the project or program level.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and management at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and experience with risk management tools such as Active Risk Manager (ARM).
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a 9/80 work schedule, onsite cafeteria, and opportunities for career growth and development.
