Position Overview

">

The Executive Director of Membership Experience will lead a portfolio of top fortune 500 companies, academics, and small businesses. This role requires extensive experience in relationship management and a proven track record for success. The ideal candidate will have experience in Account Management, Client Services, Customer Service or similar, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with technical/engineering and marketing teams.

This individual will be responsible for developing value and benefit models for members/clients, leading executive meetings, developing agendas, and prepping internal leaders. They will also collaborate with the MxD programs and technical teams to research and identify potential event speakers, exhibitors, and attendees.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement membership engagement strategies to drive growth and retention.
  • Lead client-facing experiences such as tours, strategic meetings, and hosting members onsite at MxD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver value-added services to members.
  • Analyze data and metrics to measure membership engagement and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the Director of Engagement in executing on member retention/satisfaction, additional channel partner development, and overall engagement strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • 6 years of experience in account management or client services.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; exceptional ability to communicate and present to senior-level staff.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, manage competing priorities, and use good judgment when resolving issues.
  • Experience managing and leading teams.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events in various stages of the planning process simultaneously.
