This is an exciting opportunity for a Director of Academic Leadership and Strategy to join the Community College System of New Hampshire. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to academic leadership and strategy across the system.

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned higher education professional with experience in teaching, academic administration, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of current trends and issues in higher education, and the ability to foster collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Assist in strategic planning, budget planning, and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.">
  • Campus Engagement: Foster collaborative working relationships with faculty, staff, and students to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.">
  • Academic Program Review: Coordinate and facilitate academic program reviews to ensure alignment with system goals and objectives.">
  • Curriculum Development: Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of students and the system.">
  • Accreditation: Assist in the preparation for and coordination of accreditation activities to ensure compliance with system and external standards.">
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners and community organizations.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">

Education: A Master's degree from a recognized college or university in education, higher education administration, or a related field.

">

Experience: Six years of experience in teaching, academic administration, and/or strategic planning, with four years of supervisory or program/project management duties preferably within higher education.

">

Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license or access to statewide transportation.

">

Additional Desired Qualifications: Teaching or academic program administration experience in higher education, knowledge and experience with instructional technologies, and proficiency in the use of technology, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other graphic presentation software.

Salary Range

">

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
