Job Summary

Routewise Logistics is seeking a skilled and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for delivering packages to our valued customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Delivery Vehicle: Ensure the safe transportation of packages to designated locations, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Load and Unload Packages: Efficiently load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Plan Efficient Routes: Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and plan the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
  • Verify Package Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of packages and ensure proper documentation for each delivery, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience for our valued customers.
  • Maintain Vehicle Cleanliness: Regularly maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle, adhering to company standards and protocols.
  • Report Vehicle Issues: Promptly report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor, ensuring the safety of our drivers and customers.
  • Adhere to Company Policies: Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures regarding delivery operations and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • 2+ Years of Delivery Driving Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in delivery driving, with a proven track record of reliability and safety.
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, ensuring the safety of our drivers and customers.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and critical thinking.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, dispatch teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to Lift Packages: Possess the physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and carry packages weighing up to 150 pounds using a dolly.
