Medical Office Assistant

The Medical Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clinical tasks in a Primary and/or Specialty care setting. This role requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Receives patients and directs them to the appropriate area
- Schedules appointments and files patient information
- Answers telephones and responds to patient inquiries
- Obtains and documents vital signs and patient weights
- Assists physicians with minor procedures
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 6 months of clinical experience as a nursing assistant or related field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Competitive pay rate of $23.63 per hour
