About the Role:

The Atlanta Community Food Bank is seeking a skilled Volunteer Group Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for achieving Hunger Action Center production goals through efficient processes, while providing exceptional customer service to volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check-in volunteers for their shift and collect waivers
• Lead discussions and engage with volunteers on the mission and operation of the Food Bank
• Ensure the appreciation of volunteers and positively represent the Food Bank to all who encounter the Hunger Action Center

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working in a warehousing or packing environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse workgroup
