Job Description:
As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill children, assessing their condition, and developing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs
- Assess patient condition, identify potential complications, and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
To be eligible for this travel nursing assignment, you must have:
- Current California RN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Proficiency in using medfusion pumps
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Cerner experience
