Education Support Specialist for Middle School Students in Lisbon, Maine

We are seeking an exceptional Education Support Specialist to join our team in Lisbon, Maine. As an integral member of our staff, you will work closely with students in grades 6-8, providing one-on-one support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop personalized learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Provide behavioral and academic support to students with Functional Life Skills (FLS) and emotional disabilities, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement behavior management plans as needed, working closely with the teaching staff to ensure seamless integration into the classroom setting.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Behavior Specialist or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and educators.
- A competitive salary range of $42,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience.
