Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our credit union, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, meeting their needs through problem resolution and personalized sales approaches, while promoting credit union objectives.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Fulfilling member requests and identifying opportunities for products and services that meet their needs
- Interviewing loan applicants, closing loans, cross-selling, referring mortgages, or prospecting to deepen member relationships
- Preparing and disbursing loans within lending limits and credit union guidelines
- Acknowledging all ancillary products for member protection
- Processing deposits, payments, withdrawals, cashed checks, wires, fraud packets, and more in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and balancing cash drawers/tellers' cash registers
- Handling transactions with accuracy, courtesy, and maintaining confidentiality and security
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience in a goal-driven sales environment
- Previous cash handling experience
- The ability to follow all regulations and compliance
- A high school diploma or equivalent
