Physical Therapist

Key Responsibilities:
Treats and prevents disability or other health conditions through the application of therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, manual therapy such as massage, mobilization, and therapeutic exercise.
Performs and interprets tests and measurements to assist in diagnosis and prognosis.
Collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary health team in planning and evaluation of patient care.
Provides patient education in health, wellness, and safety.
Maintains treatment area, orders supplies, keeps records, and prepares reports.
Requirements:
Valid license and current registration to practice as a Physical Therapist issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED); or, valid limited permit to practice as a Physical Therapist issued by NYSED.
