Job Summary

The Resource Nurse will provide feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses transitioning to a new specialty across multiple units. This role requires strong leadership skills, nursing expertise, and a passion for mentorship. The ideal candidate will be a licensed registered nurse with 2+ years of experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and a Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Obtain and record initial and ongoing patient information throughout the cycle of care.
  • Assist with mobility by regular turning and positioning, dangling, and ambulating patients.
  • Perform non-medicated support care, including dressing changes, skin protection, and oxygen delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 2+ years' experience as a RN.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing, 1+ years' experience in a leadership role, and 1+ years' experience as a preceptor.
