Catalyst Growth Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Catalyst Growth Strategist to join our team at Vesuvius USA.

The Catalyst Growth Strategist will develop and implement the strategy for crucible growth in NAFTA, focusing on market research, sales tools, product positioning, target marketing, and product profitability. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, and technical development expertise.

• Conduct market research through customer interactions, sales force analysis, and external market data to determine the value proposition of current products and identify market gaps and opportunities.
• Develop sales tools, competitive analysis, and product line positioning to drive business growth.
• Implement and monitor product profitability, including monthly analysis of product line performance.
• Manage the product group life cycle, considering specific market requirements, and provide support, guidance, and training for Sales and Application Engineers.
• Define product specifications according to customer requirements and manage SKUs to maximize manufacturing efficiency.
• Implement and control product launches, lead new product development, and develop product literature.

• Relevant degree-level education in chemistry or material science and minimum 5 years of experience in working with crucible applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to understand different cultures and management styles, and understanding of technical development requirements.
• Excellent negotiating skills, extensive experience in selling value to customers, and strong managerial experience with multiple direct reports.

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
