Job Summary

Valet Living is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Trash Collector to join our team. As an Apartment Service Valet, you will be responsible for collecting trash from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the onsite trash compactor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use a reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer to transport trash bags collected from residents' doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor.
  • Take required photos using our company's App during service to track and document the collection process.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective trash collection services.
  • Adapt to changing weather conditions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and transporting items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to walk the distance of property and be exposed to disagreeable odors.
  • Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app.

What We Offer:

  • Hourly pay: $15/hr+
  • Associates with a pickup truck or vehicle using a trailer will receive the higher end of our pay range to compensate for the use of their vehicle.
