Focus Staff is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Travel MRI Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled MRI Technologist to work on a travel assignment in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing coils close to areas of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
  • Two years of continuous experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
Work Experience:

At least two years of experience in a clinical area, preferably in EP.

Benefits:
  • Pay based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
  • Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
