Dental Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant/DAII to join our team at NC Pediatric Dentistry. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our dentists and hygienists.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with quality dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Review treatment plans and answer patient questions prior to starting procedures.
- Complete treatment consents, re-care, and op sheets.
- Perform routine dental cleanings and take dental radiographs.
- Monitor nitrous oxide and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Provide support to the back of the house by sterilizing and delivering instruments, positioning instruments for the dentist's access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
- High School diploma or GED certificate.
- Successful completion of a dental assistant program as per state guidelines.
- Dental x-ray certification.
- Coronal Polishing Certification.
- Additional certification such as nitrous desired but not required.
