Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems for optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and possess essential basic tools. Availability for on-call hours is required, and a valid State of Florida Driver's License with a good driving record is necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Installing new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure proper placement and connection of components.
  • Configuring HVAC systems for optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
  • Performing routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prolong their lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Replacing or repairing defective components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
  • Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Providing clear explanations of HVAC issues and recommended solutions to clients.
  • Addressing customer concerns and inquiries while ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Adhering to industry regulations and safety protocols when performing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including service reports, repair summaries, and parts used.
  • Completing necessary paperwork, such as work orders and invoices, accurately and promptly.
  • Utilizing physical strength and agility to handle tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, and working in tight spaces.
  • Safely operating tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and repair.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience.
  • Essential basic tools.
  • Availability for on-call hours.
  • Valid State of Florida Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • EPA Certification.
  • NATE & OSHA Certification is preferred.
  • EPA Type II (Preferred).

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Completion of a two-year college or technical school program with a certificate in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
