About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at DataX Connect. As a key member of our Mission Critical team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-profile data center projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Contract Negotiation and Administration: Negotiate and execute change orders, subcontracts, and purchase orders to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage project financial reports, including owner billings and financial risk assessments.
  • Value Engineering and Scope Reduction: Identify and recommend opportunities for value engineering and scope reduction to optimize project outcomes.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure adherence to contract terms, budgets, insurances, bonds, and change orders, and monitor work progress to ensure it remains within scope.
  • Project Team Leadership: Lead the project team in preparing the project management plan (PMP) and organizing pre-award and pre-construction meetings.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Manage project materials and equipment procurement within the project's budget and monitor the project site for cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Schedule Evaluation and Adjustment: Evaluate the project schedule as necessary to meet milestones and financial goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 or more years of project management experience within data center construction.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead successful project delivery teams and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes, construction laws and practices, building codes, and design requirements.
