Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services

Medstar Health seeks a Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services to lead our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a willingness to collaborate with various associates, consultants, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Program Planning and Direction: Develop and implement strategic plans for the Behavioral Health Service, ensuring alignment with Medstar's goals and objectives.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health Service, including fiscal planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between the Behavioral Health Service and other departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, or related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of healthcare management experience with hospital-based services, including progressively responsible administrative experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, management experience in hospital-based Behavioral Health, Behavioral Health hospital-based regulatory and revenue cycle experience, and experience in contract management.
