About the Role

This part-time position is responsible for conducting preanesthesia examinations for cardiac anesthesia patients undergoing radiological procedures. You will communicate with the anesthesia team regarding patient clearance for procedures, provide nursing and medical services, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, as well as the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preanesthesia examinations for cardiac anesthesia patients
  • Communicate with the anesthesia team regarding patient clearance

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic diseases

Requirements

  • 3+ years of cardiac pediatric clinical experience
  • Masters of Science degree in Nursing from an N.L.N. accredited graduate school of nursing
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
  • Current California Registered Nurse License and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • BCLS; Furnishing license. AHA BLS/PALS
