Job Summary

Centerline is seeking a motivated and skilled Telecom Lineman Apprentice to join our team in Fairfield, Maine. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting experienced linemen in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure
  • Operate heavy machinery and equipment, including bucket trucks and lasher machines
  • Perform physical labor, including climbing poles and working at heights
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient work practices
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; lineman school training preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
