Claims Representative II Role

The Claims Representative II position provides an opportunity to work in a flexible environment, allowing you to work from home as long as you reside within a 50-mile radius of our Brooklyn, OH or Rossford, OH Medical Mutual offices.

Responsibilities- Processes claims edits from receipt to completion.
- Utilizes claims and ancillary systems, adhering to processing procedures, resulting in the finalization of basic claims edits.
- Maintains a working knowledge of policies and procedures, attending additional training as needed.
- Performs routine claim adjustments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of training and/or post-high school education.
- Successful completion of required training (within four months of hire).
- Knowledge of data entry and standard office procedures.
- Alpha-numeric keyboarding skills at a minimum of 6,000 ksph.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
