Job Title: Claims Representative II

The Claims Representative II position provides an opportunity to work in a flexible environment, allowing you to work from home as long as you reside within a 50-mile radius of our Brooklyn, OH or Rossford, OH Medical Mutual offices.

Responsibilities
  1. Processes claims edits from receipt to completion.
  2. Utilizes claims and ancillary systems, adhering to processing procedures, resulting in the finalization of basic claims edits.
  3. Maintains a working knowledge of policies and procedures, attending additional training as needed.
  4. Performs routine claim adjustments.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of training and/or post-high school education.
  • Successful completion of required training (within four months of hire).
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of data entry and standard office procedures.
  • Alpha-numeric keyboarding skills at a minimum of 6,000 ksph.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
