Security Role Overview

At Sierra Space Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for facilitating administrative security processes, including personnel security, incoming visitor coordination, badging activities, and other general security customer service activities. You will also manage classified material and document control activities, control Communication Security materials, administer local physical security systems, and conduct inventories of classified holdings. Additionally, you will assist in the development and implementation of security practices to maintain compliance with security regulations, develop and implement security awareness education and training, assist with the Security Clearance process for employees, and participate in security self-assessment initiatives.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of security regulations and best practices. You will work closely with our security team to ensure that all security processes are in place and functioning effectively. You will also be responsible for communicating security policies and procedures to employees and ensuring that all security-related activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about security and has a strong desire to make a meaningful contribution to our team. You will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience. You will also have a thorough understanding of security regulations and best practices, as well as strong verbal and electronic communication skills. Knowledge of DD254 and Program Classification Guides is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate administrative security processes, including personnel security, incoming visitor coordination, badging activities, and other general security customer service activities.
