Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Financial Analyst to join our team in the mechanical contracting industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee general accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and taxes.
  • Perform job costing for various construction projects, ensuring all costs are accurately recorded and allocated.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet and P&L lines, conducting variance analysis as required.
  • Develop and maintain financial budgets and forecasts, assisting in the development of financial goals and setting company-wide financial policies.
  • Implement and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that the department is up to date with changes to accounting regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
  • Proficient in Sage Intact and other financial management software.
