Job Summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and wellness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical nutrition.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
  • Completion of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved Standards of Education.
  • 3 years of clinical work experience.
  • Registered Dietitian through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Current licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist status within the state of practice.
