Staff Nurse Resource Pool I

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse Resource Pool I to join our team at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing care with a focus on family-centered care for individuals or groups of patients within the assigned scope of practice.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age and developmental status.
- Perform leadership and professional duties, including precepting new employees and acting as a mentor to the clinical staff.
- Support the provider staff and actively promote collaboration for efficient operation and quality care, and legendary customer service for pediatric patients using a team approach.
- Perform evidence-based practice duties, including participating in the development and education for staff members for clinically related issues.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support training from the American Heart Association is required.
- Active licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience is required.
