Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our Chicago Metro Team. The ideal candidate will embody the ARDEX solution-driven, customer-first approach, cultivating new and existing business opportunities with partner distributors, commercial contractors, flooring contractors, and installers.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth of ARDEX and Henry products
  • Generate leads and win new business opportunities
  • Promote products through hands-on demonstrations, presentations, and professional displays
  • Build relationships with partner distributors, specialist flooring/tiling contractors, general contractors, architects, and key business influencers
  • Provide field service & support, including job start assistance, bid preparation, and distributor/installer training
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations, liaising with our technical team for resources and solutions
  • Achieve targets and exceed goals
  • Collaborate with corporate resources to deliver exceptional service to ARDEX customers
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience is essential
  • Knowledge of building materials industries is required
  • Knowledge of flooring installation systems is desirable
  • Technical proficiency and familiarity with architectural specifications and construction design elements
  • High levels of business integrity, ethics, and good professional judgment
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm for the industry
  • Must be able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations confidently and professionally
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
