Night Auditor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Murphco of FL. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of hotel accounts, handling guest requests, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform check-in and check-out of guests, receiving payments and applying discounts when applicable.
- Answer hotel switchboard calls and forward them to the appropriate department.
- Act as an information agent for hotel guests, resolving issues and responding to requests in a timely manner.
- Make reservations and ensure that all booking, rate, and cancellation policies are accurately communicated to guests.
- Audit all accounts to ensure they are in balance, including city ledger, reservation deposits, credit card accounts, and room/restaurant charges.
- Post room, tax revenues, and no-shows, and prepare a final report of all accounts.
- Count the bank at the beginning and end of the shift to ensure accuracy.
- Make regular deposits in accordance with the hotel's deposit procedure.
- Serve as the manager on duty during the shift.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Clerical and cash handling experience necessary.
- Prior hotel front desk experience required.
- Proficiency in computer and keyboard skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality, with strong interpersonal skills.
