Salary Range: $32.00 - $38.60 per hour
This salary range may vary based on experience, skills, and education. As an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled RN Resident to join our exceptional and resilient team in the Acute Adult Care Sepsis Unit at Trinity Health. As an RN Resident, you will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and listen as part of our multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide optimal patient care using computerized and digital platforms.
- Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate patient care plans from admission to discharge.
- Utilize clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and principles of case management and adult education to coordinate and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure seamless transitions of care across the continuum.
- Monitor quality metrics specific to the department and maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
- Act as mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required.
- Specialty credentialing and educational degree preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area.
- Maintain licensures and certifications according to NYS regulations and specialty area requirements.
- Participate in continuing education and updates to maintain knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
