Sterile Processing Specialist

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for performing decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment throughout the surgery center. This role requires knowledge of infection control and safety practices, as well as the ability to lift and move trays of instruments and patient care equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment
- Preparation and distribution of instruments and equipment to surgical teams
- Maintenance of a clean and organized workspace
- Collaboration with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe instrument handling
Requirements:
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar role
- Covid vaccine required or religious/medical declination approved
