Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot the Telecom/Collaboration architecture. You will work closely with our Data Center POCs to secure rack, power, and connectivity. Your primary responsibility will be to develop required specifications to submit solutions for simple, moderate, and complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot the Telecom/Collaboration architecture.
  • Develop requirements to resolve or address current deficiencies in the infrastructure due to changing demands of the current environment.
  • Perform aspects of project management and communicate project statuses to project stakeholders.
  • Work on installation and configuration of new devices, submitting ECRs to request IPs, ports, VMs when necessary.
  • Coordinate with Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have at least two (2) to five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience, including at least two projects in technical areas such as networking and/or Cisco Video Tele-Conferencing. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years. Additionally, you must possess a current/active Top-Secret security clearance and a current/active IAT II (i.e., Security+) or higher certification. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

Preferred Certifications:

Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions (CCNP) v1.0 or Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions (CCNA) v1.0
