We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Orthopedic Associates of Long Island. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires strong organizational and communication skills. You will be working closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, processing registrations, scheduling appointments, handling payments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process patient registrations, including scanning identification cards and collecting necessary information.
  • Schedule appointments according to established policies and procedures.
  • Handle patient payments and reconcile charges on a daily basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
