Asphalt Paving Superintendent

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent to oversee the execution of milling and paving projects in the Massachusetts region. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction operations and specifications, with excellent leadership skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

2. Oversight and Supervision: Directly supervise field employees, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to safety protocols.">
3. Material Management: Order construction materials, track quantities, and verify usage to ensure budget compliance.">
4. Quality Control: Engage with Quality Control staff to ensure work product meets specifications and company standards.">
5. Customer Relations: Collaborate with customers' representatives and inspectors to execute mutually satisfactory projects.">
6. Safety First: Conduct site safety meetings, promote a safety-oriented culture, and operate within all applicable OSHA and company safety standards.">
7. Project Completion: Ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.">

Requirements:

Compensation:

Competitive salary range: $107,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.

Travel Requirements:

This role requires some out-of-state and overnight travel, although the majority of work will be in the Massachusetts region.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

This position involves significant portions of the season working at night on the interstate, requiring high mobility and adaptability.
