Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Cardiac Surgeon at one of the top hospitals in the country.

This is a 13-week assignment with a preferred ASAP start date. The ideal candidate will have experience working in cardiac surgeries and be able to scrub in for these procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a fast-paced cardiac surgery unit, assisting surgeons during operations
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and well-being
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients undergoing cardiac surgery
  • Provide education to patients and families on post-operative care and recovery
Requirements
  • Active VA license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting
  • Previous experience in cardiac surgery or a related field
  • BLS certification
  • CNOR certification preferred
