About the Opportunity:

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking a highly skilled Clerical Associate to join its Mental Health Administration team in New York City, NY.

Job Description:

This position is ideal for individuals with excellent organizational skills and experience in clerical work. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative tasks, including maintaining records, processing paperwork, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
• Process paperwork and documents efficiently and effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with special projects and events as needed.

Requirements:

• A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization.
• One year of satisfactory clerical experience.
• Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
