Job Overview

Little Feats Too is seeking a skilled Teacher Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a cohesive teaching environment, coordinating curriculum, and managing day-to-day classroom operations.

Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Coordination: Develop and implement educational programs based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards, ensuring a stimulating and engaging environment for children.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, encouraging the teaching team's success through modeling and coaching, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that promotes growth and development.
  • Classroom Management: Plan individual and group activities that cater to the social, cognitive, and emotional needs of children, promoting active engagement and healthy growth.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents through progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, and informal discussions, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to center policies and state regulations, maintaining a safe and secure environment for children.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience.
  • Skill Set: Strong oral and written communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and high energy levels, enabling effective collaboration with staff, children, and parents.
  • Educational Background: Associate's Degree in early childhood education or a related field, with a minimum of 21 credits in ECE.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools, or controls, talk to and hear voices at various levels, and perform other physical tasks as required.
  • Vision Requirements: Specific vision ability, including the capacity to see up close and at a distance, perceive colors, have peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Benefits
